Terms of service
Effective date: June 9, 2026
Beta notice. Traveler.md is a public beta product provided for evaluation. It may be incomplete, may contain errors, and may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Features and these Terms may change as the product develops. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” during the public beta.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Traveler.md public beta service made available at Traveler.md (the “Service”). The Service is operated by TravelAI Solutions Inc. (dba TravelAI) (“TravelAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “You” refers to the person accessing or using the Service. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form a legally binding agreement between you and us. Please read them carefully, as they include limitations of liability and a governing-law and dispute-resolution provision. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You may register with your name and email address, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account, including use of your account by others (such as minors living with you). The information you provide must be accurate, and you agree to keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. The Service
Traveler.md lets you create and manage natural-language memory files — your Traveler.md profile and individual Trip.md files — generated from information you provide through voice onboarding, chat onboarding, or manual editing, and to connect those files to supported third-party services you choose. The Service uses artificial intelligence to conduct interviews and generate and manage your files. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose; you are responsible for reviewing your files and any decisions you make based on them.
3. Public Beta Status and Changes
The Service is in public beta. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, impose or change limits, or discontinue the Service in whole or in part, at any time and without liability to you. We may also begin charging for the Service in the future. There is no fee to use the Service during the current public beta; if we introduce fees, we will provide notice and you may choose whether to continue. We reserve the right to change these Terms as described in Section 13.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in your Traveler.md and Trip.md files (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including processing by our sub-processors and exchanging data with the third-party services you connect. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to provide it. We are not obligated to store Your Content and recommend you keep your own copies, particularly during the public beta.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback about the Service (“Feedback”), you do so voluntarily. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that Feedback for any purpose, including to develop and improve the Service, without attribution, obligation, or compensation to you. You retain no ownership interest in any Feedback once submitted, and we are free to use it without any payment or further permission. Feedback is not confidential, and you should not send us anything you consider confidential or proprietary.
5. Connected Services
You may connect supported third-party services to the Service. When you do, you authorize us to exchange information with that service at your direction. Your use of any connected service is governed by that third party’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and we disclaim liability arising from your use of them. You can disconnect a connected service at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You will not:
- violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to provide;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law; or
- use the Service to build a competing product.
The Service is for your personal use. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Service or its content except as expressly permitted.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks (including “TravelAI” and “Traveler.md”), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content (including AI-generated output) will be accurate, complete, or reliable. This is especially the case given the public beta nature of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed one thousand US dollars (US$1,000). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TravelAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, Your Content, your connected services, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of any third party.
11. Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to privacy@travelai.com with: a description of the work you claim is infringed; a description of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located on the Service; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder’s behalf. We may remove allegedly infringing content and, in appropriate cases, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the public beta. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content license to the extent needed to wind down, feedback, intellectual property, indemnification, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created by these Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
